About the Role

This position is located at the Darwin RAAF base and involves delivering fuel to Defence stakeholders as part of a Tier 1 service provider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and defence base
  • Collaborate closely with the operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
  • Deliver the fuel to designated fuel points, such as refuelling points or aircraft on the runway
  • Operate pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • MCI/HC Driver's Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly valued
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team
  • Current security clearances, or ability to obtain relevant clearances
