Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting centre teams and providing high-quality early learning and care.

In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to lead the team and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
  • Support the Centre Director in the overall management of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Work alongside our Centre Director to support our centre and team.
  2. Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team.
  3. Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
  4. Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.
  5. Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position.
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
