Medical Science Liaison Role Overview

Job Description:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts in Oncology (solid tumours). They will work collaboratively with internal teams to share insights and drive strategy. The MSL will cover VIC, SA, WA, TAS and NT territories.

The key responsibilities of the MSL role include:

  • Establishing strong relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts in Oncology (solid tumours)
  • Sharing scientific data and insights with internal and external stakeholders to support product launches
  • Responding to medical and scientific inquiries with accurate, evidence-based information
  • Coordinating advice seeking and scientific exchange activities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to share insights-to-action supporting medical strategy and decision making
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as an MSL, you will have:

  • A passion for interacting with highly technical experts in industry, sharing scientific dialogue through the building of strong relationships
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Experience from a medical-based position, ideally in a Medical Science Liaison role, with a preference for experience in Haematology or Oncology
