Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Field Officer to join our Community Work and Partnerships team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to promote community safety and well-being by working with individuals completing community work tasks.

  • You will supervise individuals and provide coaching and guidance to new Field Officers.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess hazards and provide workplace health and safety advice.
  • Maintain tools and equipment registers and ensure repairs are completed promptly.
  • Produce monthly stock reports and other written reports relevant to the work undertaken.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership, conflict management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate empathy and cultural awareness when interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills with various external stakeholders, including community work partners, property owners, and the general public.
  • Relevant community work or experience with a range of equipment used on community work sites.
