Senior Management Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to manage and oversee the monthly financial closure, ensuring timely reporting and accuracy. This role combines accounting with operational insight, delivering essential financial analysis and reporting that supports multiple business units and management teams.

This position will analyze financial results to identify patterns, explain variances, and assess operational influences. The successful candidate will work closely with management teams to present financial findings and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will prepare detailed reports to highlight cost behaviors and overall business performance metrics. They will also oversee cost accounting activities, including maintaining product costing data and conducting inventory assessments.

Additionally, the selected candidate will support budgeting and forecasting efforts by delivering precise analysis and meaningful commentary. They will contribute to audit preparations and respond to both internal and external audit inquiries.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a manufacturing business
  • Proficient in using large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Netsuite
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Commercially minded with solid analytical abilities
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and with cross-functional teams
