We are seeking an experienced and capable Office Manager to join our team at Koppers Wood Products in Bunbury, WA.

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall administration of our office and provide assistance to the Business Manager in day-to-day functions.

You will provide a high level of confidential secretarial and administrative support to office and plant personnel, undertaking a diverse range of activities, including:

  • Vendor set-up, PO processing, and maintaining payroll processes
  • Assisting with sales order processing, stocktake, and stock movement, including journaling
  • Reporting requirements and reconciliations for end of month, assisting with P&L
  • Maintaining supplier accounts, yard-sheet processes, freight equalisation, and liaising with contractors
  • Maintaining employee and company records, quality management practices, manuals, and registers in line with compliance
  • Complying with all WHS requirements, activities, and initiatives, monitoring incidents, tasks, and internal audits
  • Assisting the Business Manager with submission of monthly site data records, including fuel consumption and waste generation
  • Reception, customer service, and being the 'friendly face of the office'
  • Scheduling meetings, medicals, staff training
  • Assisting with staff onboarding, inductions, and training
What We're Looking For

We are seeking an individual with:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position (similar industry ideal)
  • Financial acumen, purchasing, and stock control
  • Experience with Cost Centre Accounting and Accounts Management
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Process Control, Review, and Corrective Action
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Suite (use of Sharepoint/Business Central/Payroll systems ideal)
  • Strong work safety experience and awareness
  • Confident communicator with all levels of staff and stakeholders, ability to build rapport quickly
  • Quick learner and ability to take ownership of the position
  • Certificate in Business Administration or related discipline, well regarded
  • Experience or understanding of operating within a compliance-heavy industry
