About the Role:

  • The Management Accountant will be responsible for the delivery of annual budget and forecast submissions, staff management plans, monthly reporting (including dashboards and metrics), reconciliations, analysis and interpretation of variances, completion of financial reports and advice on forecast and budget management.">
  • Additionally, the role will ensure a high standard of culture and practice for application of research expenditure and subsequent financial reporting and acquittals to ensure activity reflects and is in accordance with grant and contract funding rules and represents the most efficient utilisation of resources.">

  • Liaise with external partners to maintain communication and coordinate information sharing">
  • Prepare and submit timely reports">
  • Oversee commercial payments, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues">
  • Coordinate audits, ensuring compliance and accurate records">

Requirements:

  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training Certified Practising Accountant / Chartered Accountant">
  • Previous experience at a senior administrative level in financial administration and related activities, preferably in a large organisation with complex structures, policies and procedures">
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis">
  • Experience in clinical trial financial administration, research finance, or project accounting within a large complex environment is highly desirable">
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software and data visualization tools">
