Job Title: Grounds Labourer - Event Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Labourer to join our Sydney Showground team. As a key member of our events support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of events across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity to work behind-the-scenes at some of Australia's most prestigious events, including the Sydney Royal Easter Show and concerts on the GIANTS Stadium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair landscaping features throughout the Sydney Showground site.
  • Assist with turf maintenance and management.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including fork lifts and other machinery.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to deliver exceptional event outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Essential Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • A Fork Lift license.
  • Previous experience in sporting field and horticultural maintenance.
  • A sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
