About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Support Worker to join our team at Ozcare in Chermside. As an In Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients in line with their care plans, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Undertake domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Provide support with daily tasks, such as shopping and transportation, to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide holistic care, addressing the client's physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements
  • A current Police Screening Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance, and a current Queensland driver's licence.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates and proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
  • Good computer and mobile device skills and previous experience in a similar role.
