Job Title: Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our store function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing local stores procedures in accordance with centre needs, ensuring compliance with QCS policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining accurate stores procedures and documentation in accordance with QCS financial management manual and relevant requirements.
  • Implementing and maintaining Offender Purchasing and Offender Canteen Services local procedures in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Overseeing administration of purchase of stock and stores for the centre store.
  • Reviewing and managing stock orders through local internal system, providing an auditable trail of stock orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops Local Stores Procedures:
  • Ensures compliance with QCS policies and procedures.
  • Develops procedures in accordance with centre needs.
Maintains Accurate Stores Documentation:
  • Ensures compliance with QCS financial management manual.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Manages Stock Orders:
  • Reviews and manages stock orders.
  • Provides an auditable trail of stock orders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to manage complex inventory systems. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safe working practices, adhering to health and safety regulations, and ensuring all staff are trained and informed on correct lifting techniques and use of Materials Handling Equipment.
