Job Description

The APS6 Case Management Officer role involves providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for a team within a work area.

The position requires undertaking complex work guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.

  • Undertake case management of complex matters and analyse to develop options for resolution.
  • Obtain necessary information and advice to effectively resolve matters.
  • Attend conferences, conciliations and hearings conducted by the AAT.
  • Prepare documents detailing resolution options and outcomes.
  • Assess and respond to priorities and risks, including risk to participants and the agency.
  • Prepare and maintain electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision making processes.

Key responsibilities may change over time. Security clearance is mandatory for this role.
