About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our rehabilitation team at Lady Davidson Private Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and direct nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Deliver education and support to patients and their families to promote health recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Provision of required compliance documentation, including evidence of work rights in Australia, a Working with Children check, and a Police check.
  • Rehabilitation nursing experience is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to quality patient care and compliance with Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare (ACSQH) National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
