Personal Support Worker Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide care to clients living in their own homes, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting daily activities.
The role involves providing in-home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing. You will also be responsible for transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping and other activities as needed.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and able to build meaningful relationships with our clients. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients living in their own homes
- Assist with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, and preparing meals
- Transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping and other activities as needed
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum)
- Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work
- Experience working with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops
