Last Mile Logistics Manager Position

The role of a Logistics Manager is crucial in the success of any organisation. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and influencing best-in-market third-party logistics partners to drive operational efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include analysing and optimising transport network performance across multiple sites for cost and operational efficiencies, partnering with stakeholders to plan and forecast resources, wages, and labour requirements with accuracy and efficiency, and reporting and presenting performance metrics with recommendations to key stakeholders.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading high-volume supply chain or transport operations, strong stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills, proven analytical skills with expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and commercial decision-making to align with key milestones, a track record of driving results, improving processes, and leading & motivating teams, and understanding of WMS / TMS systems.
