Job Title: Access System Coordinator

Are you a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills? Do you have experience in housing or community development?

We are seeking an Access System Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the set-up, management, promotion, adoption, and ongoing development of the Coordinated Access system in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a system map of services for homeless/at-risk of homelessness populations.
  • Set up map as precursor to future Coordinated Access Shared Resources Inventory.
  • Consider making map available online/searchable/designed for community users.
  • Ensure policies and protocols are in place and adhered to for data privacy and safety.
Key Qualifications:
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in housing or community development/community engagement.
  • Experience working with and advocating for vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with guidance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills.
