You will play a key role in advancing Australia's national interests and economic resilience through the development of strategic policy frameworks and engagement with regional partners.

The Pacific Division is responsible for strengthening Australia's relationships with Pacific Island nations, supporting whole-of-government objectives, and contributing to the delivery of impactful outcomes for the region.

  • Develop policy frameworks that facilitate Defence engagement with allies and partners in the Pacific
  • Work closely with Defence, industry, and government stakeholders to advance Australia's interests
  • Provide policy advice to the Australian Government on Defence policy, planning, capabilities, and resourcing
