Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Technology Director to oversee key data transformation projects. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in cloud and data platforms, combined with leadership experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of large-scale data transformation initiatives, overseeing configuration, deployment, and performance of cloud-based data solutions, ensuring infrastructure is secure, scalable, and highly available, collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and effective secrets management, providing technical oversight across backend, infrastructure, and security streams, and championing best practices including zero trust, data minimization, and privacy by design.

This role requires:

  • 8-10 years of IT experience, including cloud integration and data platform leadership
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure Core Services, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL
  • Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
  • Exposure to Azure Databricks, Airflow, and cloud platform development
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of the telecom domain is an advantage
