Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support to individuals facing work-related injuries or illnesses that impact their ability to perform their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop customized rehabilitation plans to facilitate their recovery and return to work.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients, insurers, employers, and medical practitioners to ensure seamless communication and effective case management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients' progress and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and attend professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A degree in occupational therapy, psychology, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, social work, or rehabilitation counseling.
  • Working towards full registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to facilitate travel to client sites.
  • Flexibility to work in different locations if required.
