In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. This position oversees the EHS aspects of our Blacktown site, supporting operations across the ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS strategies to maintain high safety and environmental standards.
- Coordinate licenses and permits required for operations.
- Manage waste management programs to minimize environmental impact.
- Identify training needs for the workforce and ensure up-to-date skills.
- Maintain accurate EHS metrics to inform business decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A preferred background in production or manufacturing operations in Australia.
- Certification as a Return to Work Coordinator is highly valued.
- Proven experience in EHS management, ideally with internal auditing qualifications.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
