The Role: Team Leader Waste Collection

  • This position is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the delivery of waste collection and disposal services across the region.

To be successful, you will need to have proven experience in coordinating waste collection and disposal operations, with a strong focus on service delivery, safety, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and responding to customer requests and enquiries relating to waste services, ensuring a timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensuring operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with relevant industry standards, legislation, and policies.

You will also be required to participate in after hours and weekend work as part of this role.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement of a current HC Class driver's licence
  • General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
  • Plant Operator ticket (e.g. Loader/Compactor)

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience operating side/rear lift truck, compactor, roll-on-roll off truck
  • Agricultural Chemical Distribution and Control (ACDC) Licence or Australian ChemCert (Desirable)
