About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead Data Architect to join our Digital Transformation team at Macquarie.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of data projects from inception to deployment, ensuring seamless delivery of solutions that offer actionable insights and enhance workflow efficiencies for business teams.
  • Guidance of non-technical stakeholders through the complexities of solving business challenges using data and technology, while collaborating with technical experts to design and implement robust data science pipeline solutions.
  • Integration of solutions with broader systems, adherence to strict deployment and regulatory standards, and effective testing and implementation in partnership with Technology Partners and Enterprise Technology.
  • Regular communication with project stakeholders, maintenance of compliance with Macquarie's regulatory standards, and mentorship of junior analysts to foster a successful project delivery environment.
About You

We require a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field, as well as strong background in Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM), prompt engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), including experience with text representation, document processing.

A proficiency in Python, experience with Generative AI framework and Deep Learning algorithms for building Chatbots (OpenAI python packages, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pytorch, TensorFlow) is also necessary.

Your experience in building Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solution end-to-end, along with testing and evaluation of RAG solution performance, will be highly valued.
