Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Director to join our team. As a seasoned engineering professional, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance across various projects.

In this role, you will lead technical investigations, approve engineering documentation, and act as a trusted authority in your discipline. You will also be responsible for managing engineering functions, understanding engineering toolsets, and holding an accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering with chartered status.

The successful candidate must have significant experience within a relevant engineering and technical role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. They must also be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance per AGSVA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Documentation Review: Approve engineering documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Expert Authority: Act as a trusted authority in your discipline, providing expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Engineering Function Management: Manage engineering functions, including understanding engineering toolsets.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Chartered Status.
  • Significant Experience in Relevant Engineering and Technical Role.
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance.
