Senior Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team.

  • Delivering high-quality patient care and implementing tailored care plans for residents.
  • Monitoring residents' health, administering medications, and performing necessary treatments.
  • Supervising and supporting nursing and care staff in providing optimal patient care.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a person-centered approach.
  • Assessing and managing residents' chronic conditions and ensuring timely medical interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with aged care regulations.
  • Educating residents, families, and caregivers on health management and well-being.
  • Ensuring infection control protocols, workplace safety, and best clinical practices are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in palliative care, dementia care, and rehabilitation nursing.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Understanding of My Aged Care and NDIS frameworks.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in aged care, geriatrics, or clinical nursing.
  • Knowledge of aged care quality standards, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Competence in medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic health records.
