We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community and responding to emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazardous situations, in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Contribute to community education and outreach activities, promoting fire safety and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate with other emergency service providers and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.
- Eligibility to apply for, or hold, a current Blue Card.
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
