Position Overview

We are looking for Nutrition Specialists who are motivated by a diverse range of cases and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive, holistic assessments for various clients across different settings.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and caregivers to create evidence-based, practical, and personalized intervention plans aimed at enhancing health, wellbeing, and capabilities.
  • Deliver and assess educational and support services to participants, focusing on achieving their goals.
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and high-quality reports tailored to the target audience's needs.
  • Engage and work alongside internal and external stakeholders, including other health professionals and community members, to develop individualized support plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and future opportunities.
  • Manage daily client activities independently to ensure positive outcomes for clients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including record-keeping and billing, with organizational support.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate works effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary health team. For experienced professionals, we offer pathways to enhance mentoring and leadership skills while exploring further opportunities within the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Registration with the appropriate professional board (Dietitians Australia) or eligibility to obtain.
  • Clear criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent), or willingness to complete these checks.
  • Current and unrestricted driver's license with access to a personal vehicle.
  • A genuine passion for assisting a diverse clientele.
  • Completion of the NDIS mandatory orientation module.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory.
