Cloud Security Expert Role

This is a key position requiring an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to contribute to our team's expertise in Sydney.

  • Develop and maintain robust security architectures for Google Cloud landscapes, guided by industry standards and frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework and Google Cloud Security Foundations Blueprint.
  • Design multi-project landing zones using Terraform/Deployment Manager, embedding organizational policies, IAM guardrails, and VPC Service Controls to enforce policy from inception.
  • Architect identity and access controls leveraging Cloud Identity (or Google Workspace), IAM roles & policies (including IAM Conditions), and organization policies to enforce least-privilege access across resources.
  • Define network security designs involving VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Private Google Access, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls to protect against external and lateral threats.
  • Implement data protection strategies using Cloud KMS (CMEK/CSEK), Cloud HSM, Cloud DLP, and Confidential Computing (e.g., Confidential VMs) to secure data at rest and in transit.

  • Identity and Access Control: Implement robust identity and access control mechanisms to ensure secure resource access.
  • Network Security: Design and implement secure network architectures to prevent external and lateral threats.
  • Data Protection: Develop and implement data protection strategies to secure data at rest and in transit.
