Cloud Security Specialist Job Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing security controls across multi-cloud environments. Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of secure cloud architectures and solutions, maintaining risk registers, and promoting a security-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and bank security policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security policies in CI/CD workflows and customize off-the-shelf security tools to meet organizational requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks, and participate in internal and external audits to demonstrate compliance with cloud security requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in cloud security.
  • Currently hold active AWS Security Specialty or Azure AZ-500 certification.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and industry frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, NIST, CSA, CIS benchmarks.
  • Familiarity in programming and scripting languages such as Python, TF, Go, or JavaScript.
