We are a team dedicated to supporting older adults live life on their own terms.

This role plays a vital part in providing efficient and high-quality catering services within our residential facility.

As a Food Service Assistant, you will work closely with clinical and care teams to deliver nutritious meals and refreshments while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing each dining area for meal periods in line with our service standards.
  • Serving residents during tea breaks and supper.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Assisting with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitoring and recording requirements of our Food Safety Plan.

We are looking for someone with

  • Previous experience in catering or hospitality.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to write clearly.
  • Able to work as part of a team, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
