The Executive Director is a leadership position that plays a pivotal role in driving the success of an organisation.

Job Description: The Executive Director will oversee the operational and financial performance of our community services, ensuring policies and risk management are implemented, while achieving the goals of our service delivery, funding and reporting, set out in our Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely advice demonstrating integrity and accountability to enable good governance.
  • Oversight of operational and financial performance of our community services.
  • Implementation of policies and risk management to achieve organisational goals.
  • Collaboration with management, staff and volunteers to deliver services in a manner that demonstrates the values of the organisation.
  • Attracting, engaging and retaining professional staff and volunteers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills: High emotional intelligence, sound judgement and good time management.
  • Industry knowledge: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills built through experience.
  • Communication skills: Ability to nurture and maintain productive working relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Benefits: This is a permanent position offered four days per week initially, with a view to increasing to five days in the near future.
