Role Overview

As a seasoned HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our senior leaders across the organization.

Your primary objective will be to drive strategic business outcomes through effective people management practices, policies, and procedures.

You will partner closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.

In addition, you will provide coaching and development opportunities to management and supervisory teams on industrial relations matters, enterprise agreements, and relevant award legislation.

A key aspect of this role is to contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures aligned with contemporary HR best practices.

Furthermore, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Team to achieve business objectives and deliver operational needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of building trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coupled with exceptional communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business outcomes
  • Coach and develop management and supervisory teams
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation
  • Support the HR Team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role in a medium-sized or complex organization
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards, and legislation interpretation
  • Experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Exposure to various HR specialties, including performance management, remuneration, talent development, recruitment, and workers' compensation
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or similar
