Job Title: Associate Director, Project

Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is the financing arm of Siemens AG and serves Siemens' customers, as well as related markets and domains, with highly experienced and passionate teams that combine excellent financial expertise with deep industry and technology know-how to provide financings that make a difference. We are looking for an Associate Director, Debt Origination with good knowledge of project & structured finance in the Australian market to join our origination team based in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, arrange and transact project finance opportunities, typically as part of a bank lead arranging group, or alternatively acquired on a primary or secondary syndication basis.

  2. Develop, grow and manage a pipeline and backlog of deals to meet or exceed business targets.

  3. Help serve the Siemens Business Companies and their customer's projects with targeted debt solutions in line with the Project and Structured Finance Debt franchise's strategy and in close collaboration with the Head and fellow team members.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a financial background.

  2. Min 5 years transactional experience with at least 2-3 years' experience in the Australian market and preferably already be based in Sydney.

  3. Good commercial understanding and awareness of the Australian finance industry in context of project and structured finance debt and demonstrate good analytical skills.

  4. Knowledge of the Energy & Infrastructure Sectors, and potentially experience in nascent technologies such as Battery Energy Storage, Datacenters and Electromobility - including knowledge of key players, market dynamics and business mechanics - will be an added advantage.
