We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to oversee the daily operations of our modern hatchery. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising a team, ensuring accurate production documentation, and performing various tasks related to egg setting, chick take-off, and vaccine preparation.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to handle pressure well, and have a positive attitude. Previous experience in management, factory, production, or farming is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Working Conditions

">

The hatchery operates 7 days a week, and you will generally work a minimum of 38 hours per week over 4 days, with 5:30 am starts. You will be required to work overtime when production requires. Having your own reliable transport is a must.

You will also be required to stay in close proximity to the hatchery while on call (maximum 5 minutes drive). If required, accommodation will be provided whilst on call.

The hatchery is a shower-on, shower-off facility.
