We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented accountant to join our team at an intermediate/senior level. Our services are in high demand in the Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, and we require assistance with tax compliance and practical accounting advice for small businesses and families.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for clients.
- Completing work in a timely and efficient manner using well-established workpapers.
- Meeting targets based on delivery of completed work.
- Communicating with team members, while working with and reporting to senior accountants and partners.
- Interacting with clients, providing a positive experience.
- Bachelor degree in Commerce/Accounting.
- Completed or studying towards CA/CPA.
- At least 2 years experience in public practice in tax and business services.
- A thorough understanding and hands-on experience with income tax, CGT, and GST.
- Proficient with accounting packages including MYOB and Xero, and Microsoft Office products.
- Ongoing training and development through regular CPD training opportunities.
