Advanced Care Provider

The Nurse Practitioner role involves assessing and managing various patient populations, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This position requires direct care, counseling, and teaching to designated patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Provides high-quality and timely documentation of patient care, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
- Diagnostic Testing: Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests, develops plans of care, and follows up on outcomes.
- Procedures: Performs bedside procedures and orders medications according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Critical Thinking: Maintains quality control standards, reacts calmly in emergency situations, and communicates effectively with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing is required for this position.
- A Registered Nurse (RN) state license is preferred.
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) state license is also preferred.
- This role typically requires 0-1 year experience as a nurse practitioner.
