Embracing the role of Assistant Director of Sport, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational excellence of school sports activities.

This involves coordinating all school sporting carnivals, the representative sport pathway, and effectively utilizing our sporting facilities. You will work closely with the Director of Sport to support the implementation of the strategic vision for Ravenswood Sport and assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Sport department.

To succeed in this position, you will bring demonstrated leadership experience in a sports or education setting, along with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage and motivate students, staff, and external stakeholders.

Relevant qualifications in sports management, education, or a related field will be highly regarded. A sound understanding of risk management in sport and a commitment to upholding the values of an independent Uniting Church school are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the smooth operation of school sports activities
  • Coordinate all school sporting carnivals and representative sport pathway
  • Effectively utilize our sporting facilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders, and have a passion for developing and implementing effective strategies to promote the success of the Sport department.
