Job Title: Aquatic Centre Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aquatic Centre Manager to join our team in Lithgow, NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the J. M Robson Aquatic Centre, in accordance with Royal Lifesaving guidelines and Council policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement operational systems and procedures to ensure all venue operational requirements are met, while maintaining high standards of service delivery, venue presentation, safety and security.

• Supervise aquatic centre staff on shift, providing guidance on safe operations and tasks.

• Carry out and lead emergency response activities and plans in line with the Centre's Emergency Management response plans.

• Ensure that on shift maintenance/cleaning is carried out with a minimum of disruption to the users of the facility.

• Report regularly to the Aquatic Centre Manager on plant room operations and service delivery.

• Assist the centre manager to provide onsite training and inductions to new employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current Senior First Aid Certificate Level 2 and current CPR certification.

• Royal Life Saving Lifeguard Licence.

• Certificate III in Aquatics (SIS30110) or equivalent.

• The ideal candidate will have experience in public pool operations, customer service, and work health and safety.

• A working knowledge of Council's Pool Operations Manual would be an advantage.

• Preferred applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, which includes a drug and alcohol screening and functional assessment.
