Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated and skilled professionals to join our Grants Funding Surge Workforce. This initiative involves multiple roles including Grants Officers, Quality Officers, and Team Leaders, all aimed at enhancing the delivery of grants to various entities.

Grants Officer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of grant applications.
  • Draft and manage grant agreements and variations.
  • Evaluate reports submitted by grant recipients.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including customers and departmental staff, as necessary.

Quality Officer Responsibilities:

  • Implement quality control measures by reviewing the outputs of Grants Officers to ensure compliance with project management standards and departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders as required.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team operations and manage daily activities to facilitate the grants application process.
  • Coordinate with the department regarding monitoring and performance discussions, including training and development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Grants Officer:

  • Experience in grants management is highly preferred.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in providing insightful advice to support decision-making.
  • Effective team player with adaptability to new information and operational policies.
  • Commitment to quality and achieving desired outcomes.

Quality Officer:

  • Previous experience in grants is highly desirable.
  • Essential experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the complete grant application process is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide sound advice for decision-making.
  • Team-oriented with adaptability to operational policies.
  • Dedication to quality and achieving results.

Team Leader:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a grants team or relevant sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of grant application processes and best practices in grant management.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment and resolve complex issues.
