Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Sydney NSW. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the Australian and New Zealand HealthCare Organisation reference data, improving related processes, and resolving internal or client queries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Update and maintain universe and sample files as needed.
  2. Specify required changes to the data if necessary.
  3. Update the history file(s), applying corrections to historical data as necessary.
  4. Suggest new automation opportunities to create process efficiencies.
  5. Manipulate database queries.
  6. Maintain and enhance the quality of highly complex databases by identifying and implementing quality control measures and procedures.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert to support an off-shore production hub and may advise on the scheduling of day-to-day activities to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables that meet requirements.
  8. Serve as an escalation point for resolving exceptions and complex queries.
  9. Support the business/department in the development and implementation of new systems and offerings.
  10. Perform ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing processes with the objective of providing continuous improvements.

Key Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Two (2) years of industry experience in a technical environment, including programming experience.
  3. Strong PC literacy skills, including Word and Excel.
  4. Strong technical skills, including SQL, Access, Python.
  5. Ability to carry out analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters.
  6. General knowledge of company products and pharmaceutical industry or field specific to a major function.
  7. Understanding of legislation and commercialization of medicines in Australia.
  8. Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution channels in Australia.
