Job Description

The Senior Manager Cloud Engineering and Operations role is a critical position within the organization, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of cloud environments across public, private, and hybrid platforms. This includes the delivery of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, ensuring they are secure, cost-effective, and resilient. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled cloud engineers and manage strategic relationships with key third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organization's multi-cloud strategy, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and adopt new cloud services, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with Architecture and Security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet compliance, security, and resilience standards.
  • Define cloud governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards while managing budgets and resource allocation for cloud initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to align cloud initiatives with business needs.
  • Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all cloud environments, including monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, and capacity planning.
  • Establish and enforce operational processes, automation standards, and configuration management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
