Job Summary

  This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care to residents in a residential aged care home.

About the Position
  • Deliver direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Lead a team as a registered nurse, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to personal care staff.
  • Work in a safe manner, protecting yourself, colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly, combined with a kind heart and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Current AHPRA registration, achieved after completing a Bachelor of Nursing or similar degree.
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
  • Effective coaching/training skills, enabling staff growth and development.
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with a positive attitude and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
