Art Director Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team at a Catholic, co-educational school in Victoria. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with senior students and actively engage them in the learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement visual communication design programs for years 11 & 12
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate art into the curriculum
  • Provide guidance and feedback to students on their artwork
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • A desire to teach senior students and actively engage them in the learning process
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain) including Skilled Migrant Visa and possible Working Holiday Maker
