Senior Manager for Manufacturing Infrastructure

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise to drive performance, reliability, and innovation at a cutting-edge manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will lead the engineering teams behind mission-critical infrastructure, including clean room HVAC, fire protection, power generation, and process gases, ensuring everything runs seamlessly in a world-class environment.

You should also possess strong leadership skills, hands-on problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to influence at all levels and translate complex technical issues into clear solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop high-performing facilities and equipment engineering teams.
  • Manage contractors and service providers to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Oversee systems including fire protection, generators & UPS, chilled water, HVAC, reverse osmosis, process gases, BMS & SCADA.
  • Drive optimisation: cost-saving strategies, and CAPEX project delivery.
  • Ensure uptime and reliability with advanced maintenance planning and CMMS management.
  • Requirements:
  • Trade certification or tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • Proven expertise across HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, and plant operations in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills — able to inspire, coach, and empower teams.
  • Hands-on problem solver with a track record in process optimisation and risk management.
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels and translate complex technical issues into clear solutions.
