Manufacturing Team Leader

**Job Description**:

Aim Solutions specialise in the manufacture of compact, innovative benchtop automation for optimising pre
- and post-analytical workflows in pathology and analytical laboratories and has installations worldwide. We are searching for a Manufacturing Team Leader as we accelerate our growth journey.

What you'll do:
- Supervise the building, testing and packaging of all Brooks products to a high level of quality in order to meet the Production schedule.- Support and lead the assembly team, incl. toolbox sessions, continuous improvement, and act as a voice for the assembly team.- Liaise with the Manufacturing Manager, Production Planner and Purchasing Officer to ensure adequate parts and labour are available for each product on incoming sales orders.- Supervise the assembly and testing of Brooks product, according to delivery schedules, for:
i) sales

ii) repair to customer returned product

iii) internal use for testing

iv) internal use for prototyping.- Ensure that manufactured products achieve the required level of quality in line with customer expectations and requirements.- Follow detailed instructions as outlined in controlled documentation and manufacturing policies and procedures.- Maintain records for the quality department.- Understand and follow the company policy regarding engineering change notice processes, and initiate action when discrepancies are identified.- Identify and implement operational efficiency and sustainability measures.- Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in the production process.

What you'll bring:
- Engineering trade background or 5+ years previous instrument production experience.- High level interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and a proven ability to work constructively to lead and motivate a diverse manufacturing team.- High level of commitment and integrity.- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organisation.- Problem solving skills.- Ability to work accurately, unsupervised.- Computer literate, particularly with MS Office.- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver results.- A strong team player with an empathetic approach and resilient nature.- Some experience in Inventory Control, ERP and Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.- Exposure to either ISO9001 or ISO13485 QMS.
