Job Overview: Cyber Security Expert

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned cyber security professional to leverage their expertise in managing client risk and developing tailored solutions.

  • Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments aligned with industry standards, including NIST.
  • Support clients in implementing effective risk management strategies based on best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on governance, compliance, risk, and auditing services, ensuring alignment with various standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate client compliance with industry regulations, such as PCI DSS, APRA CPS234, and GDPR.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and upselling with existing and potential clients.
  • Maintain relevant certifications required by the industry and complete ongoing continuing education.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security, information security, or risk management.
  • CISSP certification is mandatory.
  • Additional desired certifications include CISA / CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor.
  • Highly desirable: Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) qualification.

As a Cyber Security Expert, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop strategic solutions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments, providing expert reports, and collaborating with clients to mitigate risks effectively.
