This position at a premier golf facility, situated near a national park, offers the opportunity to work on an 18-hole par 70 course recognized for its excellence. The successful candidate will become part of a committed and knowledgeable group of professionals who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of course quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A proactive individual who thrives in both collaborative and independent work settings.
  • Competence in all facets of golf course upkeep is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 in Sportsturf Management.
  • Current Chemical Application certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with automated irrigation systems, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
  • Background in golf course construction.

The selected applicant will report to the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, with responsibilities including a rotating work schedule (overtime compensation available). The organization is committed to fostering career growth through training and participation in industry educational events.

On-the-job training will be integral to this role, with further educational opportunities potentially available for the right candidate.

Compensation will be aligned with the applicant's experience.
