We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, including preparing matters for conference and hearing, drafting briefs and documents, and coordinating medico-legal appointments.

  • Work closely with our solicitors to successfully support them with day-to-day operations of files/client management.
  • Prepare matters for conference and hearing, including preparation of court and legal documents and general correspondence.
  • Draft briefs and documents, such as claim forms and schedule of damages.
  • Coordinate medico-legal appointments, compulsory conferences and mediations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with our clients, Shine employees, Counsel and other external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a personal injury paralegal role is desirable.
  • Accurate typing skills with intermediate Word & Excel skills.
  • A keen eye for detail in your document management and collation skills.
  • You will be a great communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • You will recognise and value the importance of your role in being the gateway to support our clients.
