Job Description

We are seeking a passionate educator and researcher to join our team as a Lecturer in Nutrition. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring students through engaging teaching, conducting impactful research, and collaborating with regional nutrition professionals to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of learning and teaching practices within the nutrition and dietetics discipline.
  • Undertake high-impact research that contributes to the growth and excellence of our Nutrition and Dietetics discipline.
  • Participate in governance, coordination, and capacity-building activities that enhance the student experience.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Recognition as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) by Dietitians Australia.
  • A proven track record as an effective teacher, capable of conceiving, developing, and delivering higher education curricula.
  • Membership and connections with relevant professional bodies and community groups.
  • A sound and established track record of research activity commensurate with the level of the position.
  • Evidence of participation in academic development activities and a desire to continue learning and improving as an effective academic.
