This 3 month temporary position is an excellent opportunity to utilize your administrative skills in a records management environment.

The successful candidate will work within a Local Council based in the Inner West of Sydney, where they will be carrying out daily record management activities.

Responsibilities include:

- Processing daily incoming mail and batching of invoices and cheques
- Processing Council's incoming electronic mail
- Updating Council's electronic document records management system
- Providing assistance to telephone enquiries from internal staff and members of the public
- Ensuring accuracy of records in line with Council's Day Boxing procedures
- Updating and maintaining hardcopy files
- Undertaking record file searches on behalf of Council staff

To be successful in this role you will need to possess a minimum 2 years experience working in a similar records management capacity, ideally within the Local Government sector.
