Job Title: Clinical Specimen Collector

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment as a Clinical Specimen Collector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting patient samples with care and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample
  • Delivering documentation within tight turnaround times
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaising with various stakeholders including customers, clinic staff and couriers
Requirements:
  • A demonstrated experience and knowledge in phlebotomy or a certificate III in pathology collection or a healthcare background
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with high levels of empathy
  • Strong organisational skills, with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic setting
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • A working with children's check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship, or a valid visa with permission to work
Vaccination Requirements:

Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is required for this role. Other vaccinations may be necessary based on location.
