Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Specimen Collector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting samples with care and attention, keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample, and preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and non-blood samples with precision and care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patients and samples.
  • Prepare and package specimens for transportation and laboratory testing.

Requirements:

  • High level of empathy, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a solo clinic environment.
  • Current vaccination status, including Hepatitis B and COVID-19.
  • Previous experience or knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection is highly desirable.
